Getting Started with the Consultation

Once you contact us, at California Window Fashions, your window covering designer will visit your home during your scheduled appointment, bringing inspiration, samples and advice. This one-on-one visit with your family will give you a chance to share the challenges you may be having in your home with your windows–and the styles that have caught your eye!

We Measure. You Browse.

It’s a great opportunity to look at fabric samples in the comfort of your home, in your home’s actual lighting and alongside the fabrics and paint colors to help coordinate the entire design. Our window treatment experts take accurate measurements, accounting for the lifestyle function, household obstacles and imperfect sizing of windows that can be common–even in brand-new homes.

The design consultation is a great way to narrow down the options of what you like and which window solutions and features you’re interested in. You can make changes to the plan your designer has prepared for you, staying in line with your budget, adjusting fabrics and features until it’s exactly the way you like.
